One look at the new ESX, and you know what this bike is about. It looks fast. And as the wind-tunnel data proves, it is fast. The most radical design ever created by Parlee took years to develop —and when it comes to performance, we’ll put it up against any other aero road bike on the market. Every road rider is drawn to the promise of more speed. Ride faster with less effort? Sure, who doesn’t want that? That’s the whole idea behind the “aero road” bike category. The question is, at what cost? What will you sacrifice to improve aerodynamic efficiency? Until now, the answer to that question has been pretty predictable. Ride quality gets sacrificed. As aero performance goes up, comfort goes down. Most aero road bikes put speed first, comfort last. Maybe pros can live with that on race day, but it’s less than ideal for an everyday road bike. That’s not a trade-off that Parlee has ever been willing to make. Parlee built our name on delivering superior ride quality. It’s what sets them apart. And it’s what led to the creation of the ESX. Several key technologies put this new bike in a class of its own. Its sleek, wind-cheating profile starts with a patented tube technology called Recurve. Bob Parlee’s background in designing and fabricating boats served this project well. His experience creating shapes and sections that move through fluid with optimal efficiency helped inform the design process of Recurve tubing. With its unique “fluted tail” shape, Recurve delivers the ideal blend of low drag and high torsional stiffness—along with road-smoothing comfort that is so often lacking in aero bikes. The other factor that was deemed critical from the start of the ESX project was weight. The typical way to improve aerodynamics is to create airfoils and added shapes—but a big part of the signature Parlee ride quality centers around a lightweight chassis. Adding material to create airfoils, or to shore up stiffness, wasn’t an option. In the end, after many prototypes and iterations, the design team was able to achieve its goal of hitting all the aerodynamic goals with a frame that still has excellent torsional stiffness and weighs less than 950 grams. All of the details on the ESX frameset contribute to its overall feel on the road. It features added clearance for larger 25-28c tires, which optimize speed and smoothness for all road surfaces. And its Recurve technology seatpost is available in 0 and 25mm setback sizes so you can dial in your position. Hidden cable routing for electronic or mechanical drivetrain systems comes standard, and the frame can accommodate internal Di2 batteries. The all-carbon PressFit 30 bottom bracket produces maximum pedaling stiffness and power transfer. The frame features direct mount, aerodynamic, integrated front and rear brakes.

This bike frame has a paint chip on the top side of the tube tube. Please see the second picture and contact us with any questions you have about this bike. Pinarello designs their top-of-the-line framesets based on the needs of their professional riders. As the pro peloton has been given the green light to use disc brakes for road races, the racers on Team Sky needed a bike that had all the handling traits of their Dogma F10 but with disc brakes. Thus the Dogma F10 Disk Frameset was born. You’ll notice that this bike doesn’t have room for tires wider than 25mm. That is a direct result of input from Team Sky. They love how their F10 handles, and they wanted as little change as possible. To fit in wider tires, the wheelbase would be lengthened, with longer chain stays and a longer fork. These dimensional changes would detract from the handling that the Sky riders love, so Pinarello stuck with the same geometry of the F10. The geometry of which was dialed before they designed the F8. The F10’s ride is balanced, a defining characteristic that Pinarello was loath to mess with. So, they turned their attention to improving aerodynamics. They made sure the F10 was more aero with two bottles sitting in the main triangle. Improving the airflow around the bottles was the most important key to reducing drag. You’ll notice that the fork crown still nestles in a notch between the down and head tubes. And if you take a look at the fork tips, you’ll see extended material behind the tips. These are “fork flaps” in Pinarello jargon, and they smooth out airflow on the trailing edge of the tips. Below the fork, the down tube dramatically changes shape just where the top of the down tube bottle rests. The new shape shields not only the down tube bottle, but the seat tube bottle if it’s run on the lower mounting point (there are three bosses in the seat tube, use the lower two for this aero advantage). The result of the shaping work is that the area around the bottles is 12.6% more aerodynamic. Less dramatic but still important is the shaping around the head tube and the underside of the top tube. These are designed to smooth flow as well. Pinarello’s aero shaping as a second benefit, improved lateral stiffness. Traditional teardrop shapes are stiff in the direction of the teardrop, but flexy laterally. By making the shape wider, rounder, and shorter front-to-back, the shapes are much better at resisting pedaling-induced flex. Pinarello is also known for their asymmetric designs, and this makes it easy for them to deal with the forces that rotor disc braking creates at the fork and chainstay. The results are subtle enough not to see in pictures, but are obvious to the eye in person. In terms of what you’ll feel on the ride, the answer is you won’t notice a difference, which means you won’t be able to tell that you’re on a disc-brake bike. In terms of the discs, the mounting method is flat-mount for the fork, Pinarello’s RAD design for the chainstay. Hoses or cables run internally. 160mm rotors are recommended. The wheels attach via thru-axle, 100x12mm in front, 142x12mm in back, which is, thankfully, increasingly becoming standard.

When Team Sky needed an edge for cobbled sections of the Tour and races like Paris Roubaix, Pinarello designed the Dogma K8-S, a bike that Sir Bradley Wiggins called a "game changer." That small shock you see in the back provides just enough travel to take the edge off sharp hits and repeated vibrations. These things sap your energy over the course of a day or a race. By saving that energy, when it comes time to drop the hammer, your legs are ready. Of course, the K8-S is quick, nimble and a dream to ride, after all, it's still a Pinarello. From Pinarello's super high-end T1100 carbon to the stiff chainstays to the wind-cheating FlatBack tube shapes, everything on the Dogma is crafted for speed. A seamlessly integrated tapered head tube housing Pinarello's voluptuous carbon fork provides laser-like steering while reducing wind resistance and weight. And, the sleek, internal cable routing allows you to run either electronic or mechanical shifting systems, with interchangeable cable stops for Campagnolo, Shimano, or SRAM components.

Just when you thought the best couldn't get any better. Pinarello ups the ante. Usher in the new DOGMA F8. Pinarello raises the bar even higher. Improved aerodynamics, an all new ONDA F8 fork, new TORAYCA T1100 1K CARBON, a more balanced frame design, lighter, stiffer, and definitely faster. Through a unique partnership with the English automotive giant Jaguar, the DOGMA F8 reduces its aerodynamic footprint considerably. The wind has always been an inevitable resistance that increases rider fatigue and hinders performance. Now with the Dogma F8, cyclists are able to exploit it. The new ONDA F8 fork also gets a sleek and streamlined redesign. A 54% reduction in aerodynamic drag, a 10% drop in weight, all while keeping the ride and handling characteristics you expect with an ONDA fork. Pinarello's design philosophy is simple. The drivetrain of a bicycle is asymmetric, the frame needs to be asymmetric to counter balance pedaling forces. The Dogma F8 is 33% more balanced than a non asymmetric frame and 16% more balanced that the Dogma 65.1. All translating into more power to the road. New FlatBack tube shapes not only mean better aerodynamics, it also means an increase in stiffness and a drop in weight. A 12% increase in stiffness and a 120 gram drop in weight on a size 54cm frame to be exact. Why wouldn't you want your bike to be lighter and more explosive?

Everything about this bike has been designed to deliver optimum power transfer, efficiency and comfort, and thanks to its range of high-quality components, a supremely lightweight frame constructed from Torayca T1100 1K carbon and the technology and precision that pushed Team Sky to multiple Tour de France wins, the Pinarello Dogma F10 Dura-Ace R9100 Road Bike truly is a thing of beauty. The carbon fiber used in the Pinarello Dogma F10 hasn’t changed from the F8, but subtle, incremental upgrades are immediately obvious as soon as you sit on the saddle. 120g lighter than its predecessor, the Torayca T1100 1K carbon layup is renowned for its use in the aviation industry for its durability and strength - perfect for this bike, and you can be sure it's going to stay stiff and efficient throughout every phase of your ride. The concave downtube design remains the same as the F8, alongside its 3:1 tube shape that shields bottles, cages and the Di2 junction box from the wind - hence why it’s 47% more aerodynamic than the F8. Its Onda F10 fork is manufactured using the same carbon fiber layup as the frame, providing immense strength and rigidity for you to lay down sprinting power and ride away more efficiently. It also features a front fork flap that offers a small, yet welcome advantage in the headwind by stopping any excess drag around the dropouts. Having a supremely advanced frame needs components to boot, and that’s exactly what Pinarello boast with the F10 Dura-Ace R9100. Sleek, fast-shifting and incredibly reliable, a Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 groupset ensures you’re in the correct gear at every stage of your ride, whilst the R9100 cassette offers a wide range of spin for climbing those never-ending mountains. A broader Hollowtech II arm and a reinforced outer chainring is key to the unique, asymmetrical four-arm spider construction, allowing the cranks to set new standards of stiffness and lightweight efficiency. A Fulcrum Racing Quatro Carbon clincher wheelset beautifully compliments the Dogma F10, ensuring that whenever you put the power down, there’s no loss of energy through flex. It also twins sublimely with the R9100 brakeset, allowing for predictable, reliable braking on technical descents. The directive from Team Sky was simple: 'the same, but faster.' That was the spark that led to the Pinarello Dogma F8. The Dogma 65.1, the bike that won just about all there was to win in 2013, wasn't good enough for them. As a team, the most fearsom Grand Tour squad on the planet, they look for gains wherever they can be found, and hope that if they improve everything, even if it's just a little bit here and there, it will add up to real, race-winning differences. 'Same, but faster' could be confounding to a company that prides itself on making bikes for the best in the world and an incredible success record over the years. But Pinarello embraced the challenge. Sky sweetened the pot by enlisting their sponsor Jaguar Land Rover, which provides not only cars to the team but wind-tunnel expertise. Pinarello decided to keep the 65.1's geometry, which has been proven over the years, and is the foundation for a great ride. Everything else was on the table. Jaguar helped design the tube shapes, finding what worked, and what worked better. Just about every frame tube was tweaked in some fashion. The fork legs splay out a bit wider for better aerodynamics. The fork crown helps smooth the airflow around the front brake. The head tube has a more pronounced nose, though still within the UCI's 3:1 ratio. The top tube was flattened. The down tube and seat tube and seat post were changed to what Pinarello is calling a "flatback profile." It's a truncated airfoil that tricks the wind into thinking the tube is longer than it is. The seat stay attaches to the seat tube at a lower point, and the monostay top is shaped to shroud the rear brake. The seat post clamp was integrated into the frame and the fixing mechanism hidden from the wind. Even the enormously popular Onda wavy stays and fork have been refined to simpler, more aero curves. Bottle cage placement was even investigated. The result is 3Xair bolts on the seat tube. There are cage bolts. Use the middle and lower for better aerodynamics and better weight positioning. Use the upper and middle if you want to reach the bottle easier. The shaping wasn't the only change. The shapes have a second purpose; increasing rigidity to improve pedaling efficiency. In many cases, the new shapes meant less material and structures better able to resist torsional forces. The carbon lay-up had been modified as well. Highlighting the changes is Pinarello's use of Torayca's T1100 1K carbon, which helps reduce weight and increase stiffness further. The improvements continue beyond the realm of the theoretical to the practical. Knowing that some riders utilizing electronic shifting like to slam their stems, the top of the head tube has been re shaped to better accommodate electronic junction boxes. The Think2 mechanical/electronic internal routing has been kept, with smoother refinement of the ports, including an exit port on the right rear dropout. If the bike is set up for electronics, the battery hides from the wind in the seat post. The front derailleur hanger is removable. This is both in case it gets damaged and for people looking to lighten their ride as much as possible if they're setting up for a demanding hill climb. After all these improvements, the question should be, "is it faster?" The answer is a resounding "yes." The frameset is 120g lighter in the 54cm size. It measures 12% stiffer overall, with 47% less aerodynamic impact. The fork works as a sail in certain wind conditions. The frame and fork together have 47% less drag than the previous Dogma, and come close to Pinarello's Bolide time trial frame. It's also 16% more balanced. Balanced. Remember Pinarello's embrace of asymmetry? It is still present, but more refined. As a result, the asymmetries they build in better counteract the pedaling forces on the frame. And out on the road, the bike provides a more lively ride. As with earlier Dogma's, the F8 comes with a tapered 1-1/8" to 1-1/2" steerer. The bottom bracket is Italian-threaded. The included seat post is 300mm long and is secured via two 2.5mm Allen-head bolts behind the frame. It can be packed with Shimano's Di2 internal battery, Campagnolo's EPS V2 battery, or left empty. The dropouts are carbon-fiber for light weight. The Pinarello Dogma F8, eighth revision of the Dogma from Fausto Pinarello, is a climbing bike, an aero bike, a bike that goes beyond one that already accrued 65 WorldTour victories.

While real fun starts where the road ends, you still need a bike that'll get you there—one bike that shreds flowy singletrack and crushes through road miles with equal authority. And sure, some have tried to make their 'cross bikes more "road-capable" (whatever that means), and others have made their road bikes more "adventure-ready," but we created one bike that makes no compromises between the two. The S-Works Diverge redefines the possibilities for adventure on a drop-bar bike. The Diverge is more capable than ever. And with the constant goal to best meet your needs, we took your number one request into account—tire clearance. The new frame will comfortably fit up to 700 x 42mm tires or 650b x 47mm tires. Along with tire clearance, weight was a large factor in the development and, taking some design cues from the development of the Roubaix, we developed a sub-900-gram FACT 11r carbon frame that's one of the lightest in the category. Actually, it's pretty damn light, even if your intent was more Polka Dot Jersey than hunter's plaid flannel. Next up, we moved away from a traditional 'cross geometry, instead opting for something that hasn't been seen before—our Open Road Geometry. You can think of it as a road version of modern trail bike geometry. It provides playful handling and predictable steering for endless dirt skids and mid-corner drifts. The geo features a bottom bracket that's over a half-centimeter lower than the previous Diverge, a slacked-out head tube angle, short chainstays, and a short wheelbase. These changes make for a bike that's not only fun in the dirt but also performs well on the road. And while riding gravel and dirt roads on a road bike may add to the adventure, there's only so much that wider tires with lower pressures can absorb, in terms of bumps. With this in mind, we implemented a new version of our Future Shock into the Diverge design. It not only soaks up bumps with ease but also adds the benefit of extremely predictable handling. That's because the wheelbase isn't lengthening when you hit a bump, so the front end of the Diverge keeps the same effective head tube angle. In other words, when you dive hard into a turn, you won't be surprised by under-steer or sloppy handling. Unlike the original Future Shock (found on the Roubaix), the Diverge's version features a progressive spring that makes this technology more suitable for off-road applications, where stiffer suspension is often needed to soak-up larger bumps and obstacles. To add to its multifaceted talents, we topped it off with three water bottle mounts, mounts for racks and fenders, and our Road SWAT kit that fits a tube, CO2, CO2 head, valve extender, and money clip. So while it's one of the most smile-inducing bikes you'll ever ride, it's equally adept at commuting or even bikepacking. We handpicked the spec for the lightest, most unique build on any adventure bike. We left the shifting and braking up to Shimano, but did so in a non-traditional way. We paired an XTR Di2 derailleur with R785 Di2 shifters and hydraulic disc brakes. We then added an Easton EC90 SL Carbon crankset, featherweight Roval CLX 32 Disc wheels, and topped it off with our carbon Command Post XCP that features 35mm of travel. - The S-Works FACT 11r carbon frame features our adventure-bound Open Road Geometry, Future Shock Progressive suspension with 20mm of travel, and front/rear thru-axles, making it the ultimate tool for your next adventure. - The lightweight S-Works FACT carbon fork is plenty stiff, aiding in handling, stiffness, and an overall low weight. - The Roval CLX 32 wheelset has the perfect balance of light weight, durability, and aerodynamics. It's stiff enough for sprinting, strong enough for abuse, and its CeramicSpeed bearings keep things silky-smooth.
