Mavic's Zxellium Elite Pedals offer easy entry/exit, oversize platforms for excellent power transfer and comfort, and quality construction for durability. They boast composite bodies for lightness, steel axles for stiffness, replaceable stainless-steel plates to resist cleat wear and Mavic's iClic engagement with their carbon springs for a great feel getting in and out. These pedals can be run with no cleat float (fixed foot position) or up to 10 degrees of lateral foot float.
Mavic's iCLiC retention system allows easy entry and exit. It remains open when the cleat is not engaged. And, to get into the pedals, only a minimal effort is required due to the carbon springs.
Mavic pedals offer a float of 10 degrees (five in each direction). You can dial in the feel of the float, from full to none. They also offer 2.5mm of lateral adjustment, (also called "Q factor").
Mavic's extra-wide cleat and pedal interface offers over 1.085 square inches of contact area for superb power transfer, support and comfort.
The Zxelliums put you only 13mm above the pedal axles for awesome power transfer.
