More than just a beefed-up version of Ritchey's other stems, the WCS Trail 35 stem features their patented C220 clamp fits a wide variety of riser bar bends and still packs a dramatic increase in stiffness and strength over competitor's designs. The 35mm clamp diameter takes advantage of the increased stiffness and power of larger diameter handlebars.
- 3D Forged 2014 alloy for superior strength and lightweight
- 220 degree, extra-wide bar clamp improves stiffness and fits most riser bars
- Oversize 35mm bar clamp for use with 35mm OD handlebars
- Material: 3D Forged 2014 alloy
- Angle: Zero rise
- Steerer Height: 45mm
- Faceplate Width: 40mm
- Steerer: 1-1/8"
- Bar Clamp: 35mm
- Matte black finish
- 130g (70mm)
Stem angle is one of the factors that determines handlebar height. A listed angle of 0 degrees actually provides a rise that is dependent on your bike’s head angle (see image).
Stem length is measured along the side of the stem from the center of the steerer to the center of the handlebar clamp (see diagram). Keep in mind that as a stem provides more rise, its effective length decreases. In the example above, if the +17 degree stem measures 135mm, it actually extends 108mm parallel to the ground.
