The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts set a new standard in on-the-bike comfort and female-specific design. The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts blend several proven textiles and construction techniques to create a truly unique pair of shorts that are as fast as they are comfortable. Like our high-end Laalalai Shorts, they’re cut from Type.439 Diadema, a fabric chosen for its exceptional stretch, high-wicking, and compressive capabilities. Wind-tunnel tested and using our aerodynamic Fenomeno1 design, these are our some of our fastest women’s cycling shorts yet. The precise fit comes down to the waistband design, where we applied our breathable, ultrasoft Aerofit material at the front, using a fold-over construction that comfortably holds the shorts in place across the abdominals. We did the same at the lower legs, adding a secure, stay-put fit with an asymmetrical hold on the thighs. Compared to our Laalalai shorts, these are 2.5cm shorter in length. And in terms of the insert, we’ve sewn in the lightweight, breathable S7 EVO to deliver targeted support and all-day comfort.

The Trail Cargo Shorts take the concept of adaptable, all-mountain shorts to a new realm, made possible by streamlined tailoring and progressive materials. They've been developed with a waistband that smoothly holds the shorts in place, a cut that's trim around the crotch to avoid saddle snag, a length that's ideal with or without pads, and a versatile new fabric that flexes with each pedal stroke.

We took this generational redesign as an opportunity to make the MILLE GT better at the things we loved about its predecessor, including our premium X-frame suspension carriage, a refined comfort waist fit, and a reduction in seams and weight (28% and 5g, respectively). The insert also got some attention, inheriting the increased ventilation of our GTS/GTO models and receiving 3mm of additional cushioning. Assos engineered it for committed riders looking for added comfort during training to everyday riders seeking maximum long-distance support.

Lightly insulated knickers for cool conditions and long-distance riding, with extended knee coverage and stormproof textiles. Updated with features to enhance stability, reduce seams, and improve support. We redesigned the pre-shaped panels to reduce seam count, and we also shed grams without sacrificing the light compression and long-distance comfort MILLE embodies. The Knickers are updated with our race-inspired X-Frame bib design, which stabilizes the insert and body panels throughout the pedal motion and while cornering. The new model is also updated with our MILLE GT C2 insert, which adds 2mm of plush comfort for long rides maintaining form or building base miles for the coming season. - 86%PA 14%EA

BEHIND THE PRODUCT To not only reduce weight, but also increase rider comfort and support during the hottest racing days and flat-out indoor training sessions. We reduced the number of seams and replaced current panels’ textiles with hyperlight, more breathable materials to further reduce friction and keep the leg muscles cooler and fresher, for longer durations.

GTO marks the pinnacle of the Total Comfort MILLE GT line - spiritual successor to the iconic CENTO and Campionissimo Bib Shorts. It features the plushest, most responsive and breathable ASSOS insert to date, wrapped in our new frictionless, wrinkle-free paneling. The GTO has two leg lengths: STANDARD and LONG (+3cm vs standard). BEHIND THE PRODUCT With large-muscle support, friction, and excessive pressure remaining critical issues on long-duration rides, GTO destroys conventional bib short construction formulas. We reversed stitch lines and radically reshaped the insert to eliminate friction and genital pressure, while providing matchless muscle support with tapered, wrinkle-free leg panels that mirror your personal physique.
