Yeti Cycles ARC C1
$3,600.00
The ARC is back. Conjuring up all the nostalgia, hoots and hollars from yesteryear. It's your instant-feedback steed for any trail. Show it your singletrack, pump track and your backpack route too. It's got history to live up to and new history to make. And it's already impatient. While the ARC has roots back to the beginning of mountain biking, this frame is anything but a nostalgic blast from the past. If you run a chain guide, the ARC has integrated ISCG 05 tabs. Geometry: A modern approach to hardtail geometry, without losing traction in the rear: riders have plenty of room to maneuver and respond to trail feedback without being too stretched out. Far beyond a juiced up throughbred XC race bike, the ARC is built around a 130mm fork form a massively capable trail bike. Qualifying personal achievements with the phrase "for a hardtail" simply isn't necessary. The ARC absolutely rips when held wide open. Features: Internally routed cable tubes with secure closures at entry and exit points make rattles a thing of the past. And an all new chain slap protector virtually eliminates that chain on rubber sound, maintaining the serenity of the adventure. +Dual-sided downtube mounts for carrying more stuff. +Full-stroke droppers encouraged +The downtube, seattubem and chainstays flow into each other for a stiff and direct feel Feel: Spry, stiff, light, fast, fun as hell. The C1 version of the Yeti ARC Carbon comes with a Shimano SLX 1x12-speed drivetrain that includes a cassette that has a hill-crushing 10-51T gear range that makes climbing and riding in rough terrain. Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes provide confidence-inspiring stopping power so you can descend under control. DT Swiss M1900 wheels are paired with Maxxis tires that can be set up tubeless for a smoother ride, better traction, and fewer flats. With the Fox Transfer dropper post, you'll be able to quickly lift and lower your saddle for more efficient climbing and safer descending.
