The Motivational Speaker of Our Lineup Be the best pumper, bumper and jumper you can be. The PBJ is one of the longest standing models in our lineup, and for good reason. Unique geometry developed by our very own Lars n' Bars creates a bike that mountain bikers will immediately feel at home on. Designed with relaxed geometry that is stable at higher speeds and big jumps, yet fun and nimble enough for the tightest of pump tracks. The PBJ will simply make you a better mountain biker and help you take your pumping, bumping and jumping skills to the next level. The X-long PBJ has a longer reach as well as a longer chainstay. This size isn't just for tall riders, it's also great for people looking to have a pumptrack/dirt jump bike that fits similar to their trail bike. For days when you go from the mountain straight to the neighborhood pump track, you can seamlessly transition from bike to bike without any adjustment time.

Steel Commuter and Gravel Bike Preamble is a hard-boiled steel commuter built for comfort, durability, and buffoonery on pavement and gravel. Nothing More is Needed. Nothing Less Will Do. The challenge was thus: Build a serious steel bike and give it only the attributes that matter most. Make it quick and comfortable on pavement, as well as confident and compliant on degraded surfaces. What the Enginerds put forth is Preamble, a pavement and gravel utility worker that proves you don't need to cut corners or clip coupons to make a more affordable steel bike. You just need to keep shit simple. Preamble can run racks and fenders and carry a couple water bottles. Surly was raised on stealing basic cable, after all. Smooth and efficient on asphalt, Preamble's double-butted main triangle provides a resplendent ride feel and withstands abuse from life's inevitable potholes. Make it your own with flat bars, drop bars, a basket, or bags. On the road to steel euphoria, Preamble is the gateway drug. Let facts be submitted to a candid world: - Offered in flat-bar and drop-bar configurations - Easy T-Shirt sizing to fit nearly every rider (XS, S, M, L, XL) - Sloping top tubes on XS and Small frames for improved standover and comfort - To offer the best rider experience for every frame size, XS and S frames get 650b wheelsets while M–XL get 700c - Custom-cast single-position vertical dropout

The Original Single Speed Commuter Bike Steamroller is the bicycle in its simplest form. While it often gets compared to single speed track bikes, it's much more than that. Built to excel on crumbling city streets, its beefy tire clearance makes it a great choice for minimalist commuters as well as dedicated winter commuters who know the havoc road salt wreaks on drivetrains. As one of the first models we ever produced, Steamroller is truly like a member of the family. And we're talking one we actually like, not your weird Uncle Norman who insists on showing you his magic tricks while always finding a way to ruin Thanksgiving. - Investment cast Surly track dropouts spaced at 120mm - Fender eyelets on the rear and one set of water bottle mounts on the seat tube - Clearance for 700c x 38mm tires Specs: - Rear Dropout Configuration: Horizontal - Rear Hub Spacing: 10 x 120mm - Front Hub Spacing: 9 x 100mm - Brakes: Rim - Caliper (mid reach) - Head Tube: Ø34mm - Steerer Tube: Ø28.6mm (1-1/8") - Crown Race: Ø30mm (1-1/8") - Stock Headset Upper (S.H.I.S.): EC34/28.6 - Stock Headset Lower (S.H.I.S.): EC34/30 - Seat Collar: Ø30mm - Max Chainring (CL): 1x (Track): 50T - Tire Clearance Frame: 700c x 32mm (w/ fenders); 700c x 38mm (w/o fenders) - Tire Clearance Fork: 700c x 32mm (w/ fenders); 700c x 38mm (w/o fenders) - Rigid Fork Spec: 375 x 38mm - Bottle Mounts Frame: 1 Standard - Fender Mounts Frame: Yes

We think by now, most of you get what Straggler is. It’s a madly versatile bike that can be used for most types of riding and riding surfaces. Better still is that you now have the option of 650b wheel size. 650b wheels were popular for a long time many years ago on ‘Constructeur’ style bicycles and we all know how real stuff was back in the day…650b wheels strike a nice balance between the benefits of both 26” and 700c sizes. The smaller wheel allows smaller riders to fit well on smaller frames, produces a stronger wheel, makes fitting big-ass tires easier and are more agile than their larger counterparts. Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. It’ll accept rotors up to 160mm. The rear dropouts are unique, too. They’re a partially closed horizontal design that accommodates singlespeed or geared drivetrains. They feature stop screws that thread in from the rear to further secure the wheel and to position the rear wheel for optimal shifting, plus a forward-mounted stop screw on the drive side to keep the wheel from slipping forward under the force of your gargantuan legs. The rear dropouts are spaced 135mm instead of 132.5mm like the Cross-Check simply because there are far more options for disc hubs in this spacing. Straggler 650b has braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. The geometry is slightly different, with angles and tube lengths very close but not identical to the Cross-Check, but like the Cross-Check it’s ready to take you just about anywhere. It’s a day tripper and a weekender. It’s a ‘rough road’ road bike. It’s a cyclocross bike with no pretense about racing. It’s a utilitarian townie. It’s a light-duty touring bike. It’s an all-weather commuter. And when you get tired of one set up, you can swap parts around and turn it into something else. We think that’s pretty neat.

So what is this Straggler anyway? The easy answer is to say that we added disc brakes to a Cross-Check and this is close to accurate. People have asked us to make a disc version of our highly versatile Cross-Check for a long time now and almost everything about the two are very similar. Straggler is slightly different, though. The most obvious difference of course is that the Straggler has disc caliper mounts instead of rim brake studs. Straggler shares all of the Cross-Check’s braze-ons for fenders, racks and bottle cages. Its frame is a highly-versatile canvas for whatever dirty masterpiece your brain cooks up. According to our computing machine (Thor) it can be set up in approximately 487 different configurations. Originally designed as a 29er (and the frame that helped spark the 29" wheel movement), the latest Karate Monkey is designed to perform just as admirably as a 27.5+ rig as well. This allows you to pick your poison — provided your poison is having a really great time while permanently donning a huge grin, of course. - Modern trail standards: dropper post compatibility, 44mm headtube, Gnot-Boost rear spacing, thru-axles, suspension corrected fork - Compatibility with most mountain bike standards makes it the perfect parts bin bike (no rim brakes allowed though) - Clearance for 29" x 2.5" or 27.5" x 3" tires

It's shown people the light of how high-volume, large-diameter tires can vastly improve the ride experience. It's also done a bang-up job dispelling the myth that big tires make you slow. Krampus is kind of like the opposite of a mullet: long in the front and short in the rear. With a long toptube and compact chainstays, it takes trail-shredding abilities to the next level. A mullet may be business in the front, party in the back but Krampus makes partying its business. - Modern trail standards: dropper post compatibility, 44mm headtube, Gnot-Boost rear spacing, thru-axles, suspension-corrected fork - Compatibility with most mountain bike standards makes it the perfect parts bin bike (no rim brakes allowed though) - Clearance for 29 x 3" tires
