For the hottest days in the saddle, comfort is exactly equal to minimalist construction and cooling ventilation, so we lopped off the coverage of an extended cuff and engineered a barely there, highly breathable textile whose honeycomb weave actively pulls moisture to the surface. The seamless, 160-needle construction creates a soft, lightweight sheath of frictionless comfort. Reinforced toe ensures "lightweight" doesn't also describe durability. The firm band circling the foot offers noticeable arch support and cooling.

Made from a comfortable blend of Polypropylene, Elastane, and Polyamide, their construction guarantees breathability and improved airflow–crucial factors while cycling. Closely contouring the foot, they’re suited to intensive riding in summer conditions.

The ideal sock for demanding rides in warmer climates, where breathability and targeted support are most crucial. To create an ultralight sock that’s as comfortable as it is supportive, Assos took a hard look at the yarns themselves. Testing in warm-weather conditions eventually led to Hydrogen, a buttery-soft microfiber that’s blended with Lycra to deliver a light compressive hold along the foot, ankle, and lower leg using a seamless construction. From there they targeted the arch, wrapping it with a ribbed band of airy mesh for further support and boosted breathability, along with a contrasting band along the Achilles for a clean finish.

In cold weather, staying dry is imperative to staying warm, so we engineered a unique yarn that provides midweight insulation while transferring moisture like a summer sock, ensuring the added warmth isn't lost to clammy chill. We also added a strip of highly visible STL textile on the Achilles and a ring of Winter 3/3 blue around the arch, increasing your visibility on the road and your socks' visibility in a drawer of black cycling equipment. The key to maintaining warm feet while riding in winter is to combine insulation with the ability to stay dry from the inside and the outside. These socks combine the stretch and moisture-management of synthetics with the superior insulation properties of wool.
