They've been developed with a waistband that smoothly holds the shorts in place, a cut that's trim around the crotch to avoid saddle snag, a length that's ideal with or without pads, and a versatile new fabric that flexes with each pedal stroke.

The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts set a new standard in on-the-bike comfort and female-specific design. The UMA GT Women’s Half Shorts blend several proven textiles and construction techniques to create a truly unique pair of shorts that are as fast as they are comfortable. Like our high-end Laalalai Shorts, they’re cut from Type.439 Diadema, a fabric chosen for its exceptional stretch, high-wicking, and compressive capabilities. Wind-tunnel tested and using our aerodynamic Fenomeno1 design, these are our some of our fastest women’s cycling shorts yet. The precise fit comes down to the waistband design, where we applied our breathable, ultrasoft Aerofit material at the front, using a fold-over construction that comfortably holds the shorts in place across the abdominals. We did the same at the lower legs, adding a secure, stay-put fit with an asymmetrical hold on the thighs. Compared to our Laalalai shorts, these are 2.5cm shorter in length. And in terms of the insert, we’ve sewn in the lightweight, breathable S7 EVO to deliver targeted support and all-day comfort.

We wanted an all-inclusive solution for daily riding. That’s simple in concept; it’s more complicated in the execution. To meet our expectations, we built the premier UMA GT on a platform of trickledown tech, including an updated AEPD fit profile and bib suspension infrastructure. We also updated the insert, reducing the footprint, boosting cooling, and adding an aesthetic touch with the Odor Control Top Sheet Tex in Sugar Blue.

The next generation in committed riders' bib shorts of choice, defined by its frictionless waist, refined air-cooling insert, and muscle-wrapping textile. Off-road bib shorts blending performance and durability for competition and touring alike, refined with integrated storage, a more compressive textile, and a simplified, weight-saving construction. Behind the product Gravel and singletrack performance, upgraded – the TACTICA KIESKÄFER T5 replaces the GTC KIESPANZER C2 with a lighter, more breathable, and more compressive construction. The key upgrades are the Type.911 textile, and the stabilizing rollBar, which are adapted from the Racing Series, bringing high-intensity road performance to off-road riding. The thigh pockets are also larger, granting expanded storage for easy access to ride essentials and fuel. For the T5 generation, we also updated the insert with more shock-absorbing foam, muting chatter and smoothing repeated impacts on gravel and trails.

Behind the product The EQUIPE R S11 is the spiritual successor to our classic NeoPro model, featuring technology from the premium RS SCHTRADIVARI Bib Shorts S11 in a simpler construction. The key differences between the RS and the R are in the EQUIPE R S11 insert and the bib strap construction, both of which are simplified for pure racing utility.

Of the S11 changes, the addition of the rollBar suspension system, adapted from the Racing Series S9, is the most impactful. The new construction increases vertical stabilization and allows a less restrictive waist construction. Coverage across the stomach and lower back also increased, providing more supportive, breathable comfort around the waist while accommodating aggressive riding positions. We reached for a stretch woven fabric that gives great stretch but in an unbelievably lightweight yet durable fabric. We gave it a DWR finish so mud and water roll-off. We gave the short two top-opening pockets like jeans so that whatever you put in there won't fall out. We made the cut fairly close to the body so you look good off the bike but the short doesn't balloon out when you're on the bike. It all just kinda disappears. The short doesn't have its own seat pad, so wear this over your favorite Castelli short. The Superleggera is a good choice for warmer weather, or the Unlimited if you want the extra pockets.
