The Expedition Downtube Pack is designed for storing items underneath the downtube on bikes without accessory mounts. The downtube bag securely fastens to the downtube and similar diameter tubes to provide a versatile and compressible storage space for spares and long-distance essentials. It has enough capacity for a 710ml water bottle, allowing it to be used as a bottle holder bag for bikes with limited bottle storage space within the main triangle. Downtube bags for bikepacking bring the benefits of accessory mounts, with the freedom to mount the bag wherever it is needed. The single motion velcro attachment and stability system means the pack mounts securely and easily to tubes of varying diameters. The waterproof, seam-welded construction ensures the contents remain clean and dry. We do not recommend mounting the Expedition Downtube Pack on tubes with a circumference of less than 9.5cm, such as seat stays and forks.

The Backcountry Rear Top Tube Pack is a convenient space to store frequently used items and add additional storage to mountain bikes with limited space for packs. The rear top tube bag is designed for modern mountain bike geometries and fits the rear of the top tube better than simply reversing a Backcountry Top Tube Pack. It is ideal for stashing snacks, tools and anything that you want close to hand and attached securely to the top tube and seat post with Hypalon-reinforced velcro straps that minimise abrasion A one-finger zipper puller allows easy access to the mountain bike rear top tube bag on the move, while the full-length fully waterproof zipper safeguards contents against water and dirt when closed. The bag is also padded with closed cell foam to safeguard items against impact and has an internal anti-rattle mesh pocket for small items.

Eliminating the need for a bulky front rack, it helps to create a balanced load that makes steep climbs or technical sections effortless. The Pack hits the sweet spot between low weight, durability and all-weather capability, and the roll-top closure system protects gear while allowing adjustment of the Pack’s capacity as required. A simple but strong attachment system secures the Pack to handlebars, and anti-slip Hypalon safeguards against wear. Materials The Backcountry Handlebar Pack is made from Dimension-Polyant VX21, a four-layer laminated fabric originally developed for the maritime industry.
