Repair Classes

Instruction Area

Wheelworks is pleased to offer the Park Tool School, a unique program for learning bicycle maintenance and repair in a hands-on environment using your own bicycle. The Park Tool School is taught by Wheelworks mechanics, experts in repairing and maintaining bicycles, using a curriculum designed by the Park Tool Company. The Park Big Blue Book ($24.95) is the textbook for the class. Written by Park Tool's Director of Education, Calvin Jones, it has everything you need to know to keep your bicycle rolling smoothly and safely. The material in the book acts as the outline for each session of the class, and is augmented by the hands-on demonstration of the instructor.

• Please note we need at least 2 participants per class to run a course. We will notify anyone signed up prior to the class if this minimum is not met.

Individual Classes

Classes are taught on a one student to one master mechanic basis. Students are provided with a professional shop environment, including tools and work stand. You need only bring your bike. Classes cover any mechanical topic the student is interested in: fixing flats or rebuilding your suspension system, you choose! Students are welcome to bring one friend and split the cost.

2 Hour Classes are scheduled M-F 10am - 4pm

1 Hour Classes are scheduled M-F 10am - 5pm

In addition to the variety of Park Tool School classes we offer, we also offer specialty classes based on topics not covered in the Park Tool School program. The following are examples of topics students may schedule Individual Repair Classes for:
